Charities

A charity that support young people with acquired brain injury. They offer advice, information, counselling and financial aid. They host a significant number of informative resources and training, as well as events for the community.

This charity supports young people with epilepsy. They offer a really helpful range of information pages about what it is like to live with epilepsy and how to manage your condition. They also support a lot of research and you can read about it on their website.

Hub of Hope is a directory of NHS, charity and other third sector mental health services that you can search by need and post code. For example, if you or your child are struggling with anxiety, you can put in your post-code, select the difficulty "anxiety" and it will provide you with all the services in your area.

ADHD Foundation has lots of resources for families of children with ADHD that you can download for free.

This website hosts lots of helpful resources for children, teenagers and adults in the DNA-V approach, which can help support young people's mental health.

Smiling Mind

This is a wonderful app that teaches you about mindfulness. There are programmes that help adults, young people and whole families. There are mindfulness courses to help with sleep, school and work stress

Sleepio

Sleepio is an online guided CBT interactive tool that has been shown to significantly improve sleep. It is provided by NHS in certain areas or can be accessed through a paid-subscription.
